The Global Locust Initiative (GLI) is an Arizona State University initiative whose mission is to promote interdisciplinary locust research and management to improve the well-being of farming communities and global food system sustainability. The Global Locust Network is an arm of the GLI whose purpose is to connect universities, government and nongovernment organizations, and agricultural communities to forge new partnerships that seek to better integrate locust research and management. This talk will briefly introduce the Network, current activities, and highlight ways to get involved.
