6: Partnering with organizations that teach science to underserved communities- working with students impacted by homelessness through School on Wheels
Partnerships can help expand the reach and impact of our entomology work and increase our ability to influence a broader audience of students. Through our partnership with School on Wheels in Indianapolis we have connected with students and adult School on Wheels volunteers. Through listening to the needs of School on Wheels we were able to fulfill their request for science-based activities.
