Spider mites have recently emerged as serious pests of blueberries and there is need for miticides that can be used to control spider mites. Until recently, Acramite was the only miticide registered for non-bearing blueberries and none for bearing berries. Oberon 2SC and Portal were recently registered and Acramite is currently being evaluated for its efficacy and residues to be registered for use in bearing blueberries. Studies were conducted to assess efficacy of two registered commercial miticide standards (Oberon 2SC and Portal), and Acramite 4SC applied at three different rates: low rate, high rate and 2X rate. Results of this study will be presented.
