Preliminary quantification of inducible 70 heat shock proteins in Megacopta cribraria (F.) to monitor thermotolerances

A common mechanism for cells to handle stressful stimuli is the induction of stress proteins. A study was conducted to establish expression of stress proteins in M. cribraria using temperature ranges. Preliminary results observed expression at 36℃.
