Organisms living in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems are highly connected through nutrient exchange and food web linkages. These linkages can be best explained by looking at the local community as an extension of a larger metacommunity. This symposium will showcase diverse studies that examine the importance of the aquatic-terrestrial interface.
