In commercial apple orchards, mite communities have a reduced biological diversity due to management practices, such as pesticide application. Here, we examined the seasonal changes of predator mite communities in an unsprayed orchard block across four varieties of apple and ground cover. The species found included Amblydromella caudiglans Schuster, Galendromus occidentalis Nesbitt, and Zetzellia mali Ewing.
