Organismal interactions are highly governed by chemical communication. In addition to insect-insect, insect-plant, and plant-plant interactions, microbes have increasingly played an important role in inter-organismal communication. This symposium will highlight the use and importance of semiochemicals emitted by microbes or microbial assemblages of plants, insects, or soils.
