Polyneopteran insects (Orthoptera and 9 other insect orders) are common and include some of the most recognizable creatures on Earth, but are rarely represented at ESA meetings. We are working to raise their profile by organizing meetings at ESA to highlight the fascinating and novel research being undertaken with them.
