This symposium focuses on biological control programs targeting invasive insects. Understanding the ecology and behavior of biocontrol agents supports early stages of program development and project outcomes. Foreign exploration, host-range and behavior testing are necessary for selection of biocontrol agents. This symposium reviews developments in biological control in different ecosystems.
