In 2018, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) conducted a survey to assess diversity in the pest control industry. This session will discuss the results of that survey and initiatives that NPMA has integrated into the organization after conducting the survey. The industry overall is 78% white, male although these numbers are vastly skewed in the industry dependent on different positions. While the industry is becoming more diverse, there is much more work to be accomplished.
