To encourage all entomologists to engage in the work of creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive field of study, this year, three of our male fellow entomologists will give short presentations regarding actions they engaged in to support or create an inclusive environment for women and marginalized scientists in entomology.” Each speaker will share a personal account of how they address inclusion in their daily lives. We are thrilled to have the following three guests speak at the event:
Jesus Esquivel, Research Entomologist, USDA-ARS; Southwestern Branch Representative to the ESA Governing Board
Scott O’Neal, Research Entomologist, Corteva AgriScience; Chair, ESA Early Career Professionals Committee
Kyle Jordan, Global Product Development Manager, Urban, Rural, and Termite, BASF
Following the presentations, there will be the opportunity to convene in breakout rooms to discuss topics of interest and concern for Women and Allies in Entomology.
